Rules
- Get Creative and Share the Sweetness: Decorate your vehicle with a touch of spooky or silly, and be sure to bring candies for treaters. You could win 1 Free Ruby River Hotel night and $50 to the Osprey Restaurant. You must agree to these rules and submit the form below. Let’s create a festive atmosphere that brings joy to all!
- Must Be 18 years or older: In order to be a Trunk Volunteer, you need to be 18 years old or older, provide your name, license plate number, vehicle style and color.
- Secure Your Spot: If you can’t make it, please cancel by October 1st. We have limited spots, and your cancellation will help us accommodate others who are eager to join the fun.
- Arrival and Check-In: Vehicles must be at the Parking Check-In by 11:00am. To maintain a safe environment, no vehicles will be allowed in the event area after 12:00pm.
- Stay Until the End: For safety reasons, vehicles must remain in the parking area until the event concludes at 5:00pm. Please ensure the area is clear of children and families before moving.
- Deck Out Your Trunk: All vehicle owners are required to decorate at least their trunks, and we encourage you to dress in costume for added spirit. While it’s not mandatory, arranging games or activities for kids is a fantastic touch.
- Keep the Spookiness in Check: While we love the fun of Halloween, let’s avoid excessively spooky, loud, or scary decorations to ensure a comfortable environment for all attendees.
- Treat Sharing: Each participant is responsible for providing their own pre-packaged candies or treats. Feel free to add extra goodies like pencils, fidgets, stickers, or temporary tattoos – even promotional items with your business or organization name are allowed.
- Trunk Sponsors Setup: If you’re a trunk sponsor, please bring your own setup, including tables, chairs, power sources if needed, tents, and displays. Business/Organization advertising is welcome, but selling is not permitted.
- Safety First: To ensure everyone’s safety, please avoid open flames, fireworks, or flammable materials. Vehicles must be turned off during the event and cannot be left unattended.
- Leave No Trace: We appreciate your help in keeping the area clean by cleaning up your space before leaving.
- Keep it Positive: Let’s maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere by refraining from political or inappropriate signage.
- Capture the Memories: All trunks and volunteers will be photographed to capture the spirit of the event.
